As for the Swisher County & District Clerk's Office, E-Filing is MANDATORY in Civil, Criminal, Family, and Probate cases.

CORRECT FORMAT FOR E-FILING DOCUMENTS:
The Supreme Court of Texas has mandated that E-File documents be submitted in specific formats. The Clerk's office also has it's own requirements.
- DESCRIPTION FIELD - Enter the EXACT document title that is listed on your document. Include additional information, such as parties name or records, to distinguish between similar documents filed. The Description Field is VERY IMPORTANT as this is what your Judge sees. This will assist them in locating the appropriate document quickly. Example: Notice of Intent to Take Deposition vs. Notice of Intent to Take Deposition - John Doe.
- SECURITY FIELD - Select the appropriate document type for each document.
- Envelope size is limited to 35 meg.
- Enter any Filing comments to the clerk in the Filing Comments.
- CITATIONS / SERVICE - Be sure to add any Additional Services when needed.
