If you need to obtain a marriage license, please make arrangements to come in 30 minutes prior to closing to start the application process.


Our office will not issue Marriage License after 3:30 p.m. on Fridays.





The cost for a Marriage LIcense is $82


Each person applying for a license must:

    1. Appear before the County Clerk

    2. Bring proof of identity and age (Example: Driver's License)

    3. Provide the information applicable for each applicant on the marriage license           


    4. Mark all appropriate boxes, answer all questions truthfully, and sign the application          before the County Clerk.


There is a 72 hour waiting period from when you get a marriage license to when you can use it-unless you get a waiver of the waiting period.


After your wedding ceremony you will need to bring your marriage license back to the County Clerk's office to be recorded in Official Public Records.


If a marriage ceremony has not been conducted before the 90th day after the date the license is issued, the marriage license expires.
